Wyke Ward
Brief info

Joan Clarke is a local businesswoman who owns a local haulage company in Low Moor with her family. Having owned the company for 30 years, Joan is honoured to serve the people of Wyke as the welfare of the neighbouring community is something she is extremely passionate about.

Joan is compassionate but has a strong voice which she will use to speak on behalf of the Wyke residents. Having come from a working-class background, Joan understands the challenges we are all facing and has the dedication to make things better.

“I am proud to serve the community that has been home to our business for the past 30 years. My intentions are to seek the money and investments that Wyke so desperately needs from the council to develop other businesses and create job opportunities at a time when it is needed the most. I want to represent the Wyke area and ensure that better prospects are available for the residents as that is what they deserve." - Joan Clarke
